Celebrities of Versilia

Versilia is the birthplace of many celebrities. An example is the Italian Literature Nobel Prize Giosuè Carducci or Eugenio Barsanti, the inventor of the combustion engine and the great literary critic Cesare Garboli.

Among the celebrities who decide to reside here, we can remember the poet Gabriele D’Annunzio and in this period, the famous sculptors Fernando Botero and Igor Mitoraj.
